ACTIVITES

Ce poste est ouvert au sein de notre équipe aujourd’hui constituée de 19 ingénieurs brevets. Vos principales missions y seront :

• L’analyse de brevetabilité et la rédaction de demandes de brevet,
• Les procédures d'examen internationales et d’opposition,
• Les procédures orales devant l'Office Européen des Brevets,
• Les études de liberté d'exploitation,
• Le support aux litiges.

Vous êtes en interaction avec les départements scientifiques de différents centres de recherche du Groupe en France et à l’Etranger, les correspondants brevets du Groupe ainsi que les business units. Vous sensibilisez et accompagnez les équipes R&D sur les sujets relatifs à la Propriété Intellectuelle, par des échanges en amont directement avec les inventeurs.

PROFIL SOUHAITE

• Diplôme d’ingénieur ou formation universitaire supérieure avec une spécialisation dans le domaine de la chimie des polymères et des relations structures-propriétés des matériaux organiques
• Au moins 6 années d’expérience en procédures brevets internationales
• Sens de la relation client, rigueur et esprit de synthèse, sens des initiatives
• Qualités relationnelles et rédactionnelles reconnues
• La pratique courante de l’anglais est nécessaire. L’allemand est un plus.

Description du poste

L’ingénieur Brevet (H/F) a pour mission d’évaluer l’opportunité d’investir dans la protection des inventions du CNRS sur la base de leur potentiel brevetable et au regard de leur potentiel valorisable, tout au long de la maturation du projet.

Trait d’union entre les inventeurs (chercheurs, ingénieurs …) et le cabinet de PI mandaté, il/elle est principalement en charge de la protection des inventions et de la gestion stratégique du portefeuille brevets du CNRS.

Activités :

1. Prise en charge du suivi du portefeuille de brevets en étroite collaboration avec les cabinets de PI mandatés 
2. Analyse des Déclarations d’Inventions et étude de brevetabilité
3. Etude de dépendances entre demandes de brevets/brevets
4. Définition et mise en œuvre de la stratégie de protection de l’invention 
5. Participation au pilotage de l’investissement 
6. Sécurisation des droits de PI 
7. Préparation d’IP due diligence et participation à des négociations dans le cadre du transfert de technologies 
8. Reporting dans le système d’information et suivi des dépenses de PI 
9. Appréhension de problématiques en droit de la PI et dans les domaines stratégiques du CNRS
10. Sensibilisation des équipes de recherches CNRS aux enjeux stratégiques liés à la PI, soutien dans leurs démarches PI
11. Participation à des projets de financements européens

Profil recherché

Formation :

De formation supérieure (BAC+5 minimum) initiale en Sciences (Ingénieur ou  Universitaire), permettant d'appréhender les domaines de la physique, principalement optique, instrumentation, acoustique et ondes, dispositifs et modèles physiques.

Des connaissances plus générales permettant d’appréhender d’autres domaines en PI tels que la petite mécanique, la microfluidique ou autre seraient un plus.

Vous justifiez :

• d’une double compétence en droit de la PI (CEIPI mention Brevets, Master en Droit de la PI), 
• et/ou d’une expérience professionnelle d’au moins 3 années en qualité d’ingénieur brevets (en cabinet, dans l’industrie, en TTO).

Des connaissances plus générales permettant d’appréhender d’autres domaines en PI tels que la physique quantique, le plasma, le traitement du signal (NTIC) et/ou l’électronique seraient un plus.

IP risk mitigation and IP management in a great IP team

You will handle select technologies within a wide range of technologies, including wireless communications technologies, digital (audio) signal processing, neural networks, software, and electronics. You will bring in competence in these fields – and you will play an active part in our IP team providing our IP services to other parties in the Demant organization.

Background related to physics, electronics, or software

You have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in a technical field related to physics or electronics and you are more than familiar with digital technologies.

You have at least some years’ experience as an IP professional and – importantly – you communicate clearly and concisely with various stakeholders across a large organization.

You are ready to embark on a career in an international environment in Copenhagen and will speak to us to find a relocation solution, if need be. You bring both energy and diligence to our team.

You are fluent and eloquent in written and spoken English – preferably you speak German or French, too.

Rôle

La personne recrutée sera apte à participer à la gestion d’un portefeuille de brevets comprenant les activités suivantes :

• Conseil pour la protection par brevets.
• Identification et/ou clarification des inventions.
• Rédaction de demandes de brevets en français ou en anglais.
• Gestion de procédures de délivrance, notamment en France, en Europe, aux Etats-Unis et en Chine.
• Etudes d’antériorités et de liberté d’exploitation.
• Participation à des présentations publiques ou auprès de nos clients.

Candidat

• Détenir de solides connaissances en systèmes de communications et/ou traitement d’images.
• Avoir une expérience dans un cabinet de propriété industrielle ou en industrie.
• Être diplômé du CEIPI (obligatoire).
• Être mandataire en brevets européens serait fortement apprécié.
• Être CPI serait apprécié.

Main Responsibilities

Represent the firm in the UK, and provide information and advice to colleagues elsewhere in the firm in regard to UK IP law and practice.

As part of an international team, advise clients on their inventions, draft patent applications, and manage the patent application process at the EPO as well as in the other main IP5 offices and the UK and German patent offices.

Conduct oral proceedings at the EPO.

Mentor and/or coach trainee European patent attorneys.

Key Knowledge and Skills

The best candidates will have experience in drafting patents in relation to computer-implemented inventions, physics or mechanics and in representing clients at EPO oral proceedings. 

You will need to:
